Is it possible for a logo to become a work of art?

The very first ‘virtual’ Iowa State Fair Fine Arts competition is happening in 2020.

The painting “Long Shadows on the Short Farm”
was purchased by Farm Credit Services of America.

This was the first year that the exhibit was limited only to artists living in Iowa.

This is the fifth year in a row Marlow’s work has been
selected for the Iowa State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition.

Work by Cedar Rapids artist Paul Marlow to be part of the museum’s 2019 summer exhibition, Into The Blue.

Hilma af Klint never dared to show her abstract work to her contemporaries.
Now they’re at the Guggenheim.

The painting was the first blue ribbon winner for Marlow in the Iowa State Fair Fine Arts competition.

The subject is a symbol of Americana and cultural touchstone for a simpler time.

The Waukee Area Arts Council is pleased to announce
our featured artist for the 2018 Waukee Arts Festival.

A taxi driver from Salzburg drove me all around the lake, while I took photos like a mad man.

The water tower depicted in the tryptic is located just across
the river from the collector’s office in Cedar Rapids.

To capture a calm moment on this lake is extraordinary.

This work took nearly 10 weeks to complete, but it was well worth it.

These are the winning works in the Oil Painting category.

This is the third year my paintings have been selected for the Iowa State Fair.

The oil painting was chosen out of a total of 264 works of art submitted for the exhibition.

This was the first call for entries to which I have ever responded,
and it was exciting to have one of my works chosen.

Once again, I have benefited from my brother's largesse.

If it wasn't for gelato, this work would have never been painted.
